Ever worry about choosing the wrong thing: the wrong

deal, the wrong decision, the wrong partner, etc.

Wasting time, money, effort, only to experience

pain, hurt your family, because it wasn’t ‘right.’

And I did for many many years.

I remember meeting someone who seemed joyful and was like, “why are you so worried?”

“God’s got you. Just trust Him.”

I thought I did, so I found that very confusing?

What I learned was, it was me that I didn’t trust.

After all, we are taught about how our deceitful hearts and sinful nature that could show up.

Throw in failures or painful experiences: mine, my parents, others… I was kinda terrified.

Well, my subconscious was at least.

And as a result, God-in-me wasn’t very convincing.

The day I decided that I would start believing God was good,

and would guide me regardless, it was His nature,

Was the day movement finally happened.

And it eventually snowballed into me learning my true value in His eyes…

But also… in my own.

From there, growth has been rapid,

Full of purpose,

anxiety- free: due to my finally making a decision to pursue my purpose,

Pain-free : going from a perspective of what if it all went wrong?

To just stretching and growing pains - which I’m okay with

And never before have I felt more a reason to be alive

To love, and to make a difference.

I didn’t really change who I was, see?

I stopped to remove the things in the way that kept me from being all I am…

Loving myself as I was created…

And honouring God-in-me as a result.
